ABOUT RENATA BORGES

 

 

Renata Borges is a Brazilian producer who began her film and television career in 2009 with PlayTV in Brazil. Based in New York City since 2012, Renata produced News segments for the largest broadcaster in Latin America, Globo TV, where she worked primarily at Globo’s Sunday night news magazine, Fantastico. Renata has covered breaking news on location around the U.S. and filmed extensively in California for the documentary series Globo Reporter. Her experience also includes video editing for the Tribeca Film Festival and producing for the award winning Brazilian director, Micael Langer. Renata has studied journalism at New York University and screenwriting at New York Film Academy. She earned a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado in Brazil.
